Japanese lawmaker says Tokyo will open internal talks on arms for Ukraine after Kyiv visit

Onodera, a former Japanese defence minister, told RBC-Ukraine in Kyiv he will push for talks inside government on "further steps". RBC-Ukraine reported the talks would cover Patriot interceptors. His published quotes do not mention them. No Japanese ministry has announced a Patriot review yet.
